Thika Hospital ward MCA Mwangi wa Mwangi has called on leaders to abhor violence and embrace brotherhood to tame insecurity, which has been a hindrance in development of the nation.
The legislator raised concerns over political affiliation with leaders from the same political party who fought out of nothing, and urged them to unite for the Jubilee coalition to stand firm.
He expressed his desire to work with any leader despite political differences, in order to tame the insecurity which has been a hindrance in the country for the past few years.
He has criticized hate speech in various social Media platforms, which incites Kenyans to fight against each other and destabilizes the peace and harmony of the country and confuses the youths into fighting.
“Hate speeches in social Medias are the results of tribulations and fight against brothers in the country, if only it can be avoided it will be a step forward towards peace keeping in the nation,” Mwangi said.
“Kiambu county should a region where neighboring counties admired since it is a place where ‘hakuna matata’ and an attractive place,” said the MCA.
The legislator, who was speaking on Wednesday in his ward, said that in order to tame insecurity Kenyans should work closely with the authority and be their own police.
He has urged the youths to venture into businesses to keep their minds busy instead of being influenced by politicians who have ill intention.
“Try and keep yourself busy and do what is right but please don’t be influenced by leaders who only have malicious intention,” said the Law maker.
