A section of Kitutu Masaba residents have now challenged area member of Parliament Timothy Bosire who is scheduled to have is homecoming on Sunday to use the platform to chart the way forward on transforming the area.
Edwin Nyaigoti, said this was the time for leaders to focus on development projects instead of politicking.
“What we need from him and his visitors is for them to tell us what they intend to do in the remaining period before the next general election,” said Nyaigoti
“Let his homecoming be beneficial to the residents and not just him,” he added.
Cylus Nyachoti, on his part said there were some projects which need to be completed before the next polls, hence it is time for leaders to ensure they have achieved that.
“The visitors who will accompany the Mp are from the Opposition so we need them to tell us what they have done or what they intend to do in terms of helping us relise development,“ said Nyachoti.
Bosire was among the Pangani Six and Muthaiga Two who were detained for four days in police custody and later charged at a Nairobi court with hate speech.
The eight legislators are out on bond.
Cord co-principal and ODM party leader Raila Odinga is expected to grace the homecoming.
