Ruiru MP Esther Gathogo has challenged National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders to shun propaganda and campaign on issues.
The MP claims that some NASA politicians are riding on propaganda to woo for votes in the August polls.
Addressing locals at Ruiru town on Wednesday, Gathongo said that propaganda will not earn NASA votes in the August polls.
She warned that propaganda politics will only create divisions, anxiety and tension in the country.
“We want to challenge our competitors NASA and others to champion issue based politics and stop propaganda,” she said on Wednesday.
Gathongo said that the August election will not be won basing on propaganda.
She added that Kenyans are tired of empty and rhetorical politics.
The Ruiru MP said that Jubilee is well prepared to battle with NASA.
She said that NASA has no chance of unseating Jubilee in the August polls.
Gathongo at the same time called on Kenyans to remain peaceful ahead of the polls. She asked Kenyans to shun politicians who perpetuate for violence.
