Kenya has lately scored a little in terms of peace following the general elections. The electoral period has caused dismay among Kenyans and in the external faces watching Kenya. The current tribalistic politics is driving Kenya to the far end away from peace, a factor that facilitates the well being of a nation.Kenya is a hub for businesses and investments. These are unlikely to thrive in an environment devoid of peace. Most investors often weight until general elections in a country are through, a new government established and until peace has prevailed to the maximum. The current political tension in Kenya raises doubts among investors and this chocks the economic sector of the nation.Kenya is East and Eastern Africa's economic icon. A country devoid of peace is likely to have its economy drop gradually following the termination of various local and international transactions that favor economic growth. Kenya wouldn't wish for its economy to fall and therefore peace is significant and every Kenyan should always consider upholding peace to ensure smooth running of the country and most so create a good picture for the watching countries.Violence caused by political differences and tribal politics is likely to raise concerns about secession where a country is divided along political lines. Kenyans should stand together and fight tribalism and work tirelessly hard to ensure secession does not take effect in Kenya. Secession lowers a nation's initial state following division of economy and resources.
Kenya's tourism sector scores high in Africa as a continent in comparison with the fellow African countries. For tourism to benefit a country at a maximum, peace must prevail. Foreigners planning to visit a country consider level of peace in their destinations before making solid decision to visit the country. For Kenya, all it takes is peace for our tourism sector to score even higher.
Corruption being a major vise in Kenya's peaceful and successful existance, it doesn't take non-locals to uproot. It takes Kenyans to say no to corruption, tribalism. Despite Kenya being great in the African continent, it doesn't guarantee that it is where it should be. Political leaders should not disfigure there followers' thoughts considering the state at which the entire world is currently in, where no leader is above the law.
Let's vote in the right leaders and condem bad leaders who misuse power, who incite the subjects, who encourage corruption. The well being of a nation starts with the citizens. Your vote determines your fate and your future.
