Deputy President William Ruto has urged leaders to offer best leadership and effectively deliver service to Kenyans while condemning them against practicing politics of division.
Through a tweet on Saturday, The DP said the main concern of all leaders in the country is purely service delivery with diligence at the doorstep of Kenyan citizens.
He urged leaders to avoid dirty politics and focus solely on bringing development to the people of Kenya and settle whatever needs Kenyans may have instead of working towards self gain.
Ruto also reminded the leaders to work towards bringing to fruition the Big Four agenda of the Jubilee government; the Big Four agenda include manufacturing, healthcare, housing and food security.
"The concern of all leaders should be service delivery. Let's avoid squabbles, distractions, politics of division and focus solely on executing the development needs of the people, including bringing to fruition the Big Four- manufacturing, healthcare, housing and food security," read DP Ruto's tweet on Saturday.
The deputy president is also against the amendment of the constitution to change the presidential terms to 7 years arguing that leaders should work to serve Kenyans and avoid working towards gaining things of selfish interests without considering that Kenyans electred them to serve them.
