Duale said that the campaign teams will work for the interests of the party and not for their personal interests as being claimed.

Speaking on NTV on Wednesday, Duale said that the agenda of the campaign teams is to drum up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid, and that they will lead campaigns to popularize the party and sell its agenda to Kenyans.

“We are asking politicians allied to Jubilee and who were not included in the campaign teams to work with those selected for the good of the party,” he said.

Duale, who will be leading Jubilee campaigns in North Eastern said that the party’s interests will come fast.

There has been discontent among some Jubilee politicians who were left out of the campaign teams, with many of them claiming that the selection of the teams was biased.

The politician’s claims that those elected will use the opportunity to fulfill their interests, and now want no-aspirants to be selected to lead the campaigns.

On Monday, nominated MP Johnson Sakaja dismissed fears that there was bias and discrimination in selecting the teams, adding that youths have been factored into the Jubilee campaigns, contrary to claims from a section of youth that they were sidelined.

Jubilee party selected its campaign teams two weeks ago, teams that will drum up support for Uhuru across the country.

The Jubilee Party campaigns secretariat will be headed by former Minister Raphael Tuju.
