Mombasa Governor hopeful Hassan Omar has urged National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders and affiliate parties to remain united ahead of the August 8 polls.Omar said unity is NASA’s only weapon against the Jubilee government. The Wiper secretary general said Kenyans have hope in NASA and will overwhelmingly vote it in the August general election.Omar asked NASA principals to trust each other saying they have the political experience and numbers to send Jubilee home.“Our only weapon against Jubilee is our unity and we must protect it jealously,” he said. The Mombasa Senator claimed that Jubilee is allegedly using every trick to cause rifts in NASA.Omar also asked NASA affiliate party politicians to stop making remarks that could trigger animosity in the alliance. He warned that reckless remarks will weaken NASA and give Jubilee an opportunity to win re-election.Meanwhile, Omar has urged Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama to soften up and rescind is decision to quit Wiper Party.Omar said it will be a big blow to Wiper and NASA if Muthama quits Wiper.“I want to ask my friend Senator Muthama to consider rescinding his decision to quit Wiper and instead work with us to send the Jubilee government home in the August 8 polls,” said Omar.
