Kalonzo says that the (opposition) will be able to defeat Jubilee government in the August 8 polls if its supporters register massively as voters.

The former Vice President notes that the only weapon they (opposition) have against Jubilee is their supporters registering as voters.

“We will be able to trounce Jubilee and form government in the August 8 polls if our supporters register massively as voters,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

The Wiper stated said that its time for Jubilee government to go home accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises.

Kalonzo exuded confidence that the opposition will win the August 8 general elections.

He, however warned that any acts of disunity in the opposition will gift Jubilee government another term.

Last week during a rally at the Bomas of Kenya, Kalonzo said that he is ready to sacrifice his presidential ambition to ensure that the opposition wins the August elections.

The Wiper leader urged opposition leaders to rally behind their supporters to register as voters.

The second phase of the voter registration started on Monday with the IEBC targeting to register six million new voters to add to the already existing 15 Million registered voters in the one-month long exercise.
