Likoni MP Masoud Mwahima has warned residents against participating in Cord's anti-IEBC protests scheduled for Monday.

The MP cited lack of focused leadership among those who are calling for the protests.

Addressing Journalists on Sunday at Likoni, Mwahima said if the leaders calling for the disbandment of IEBC are genuine, they should use the right channels in championing for the removal of the commissioners.

Mwahima also warned against disruption of business at the Mombasa CBD by the demonstrators and called on the governor-led side to call off the planned demonstrations.

The cord leadership in Mombasa County led by Governor Hassan Joho and Senetor Hassan Omar are expected to lead Cord supporters in the anti-IEBC demonstrations On Monday.
