Likoni police officers have summoned an aspiring Member of the County Assembly (MCA) over Sunday clashes in the area. The aspirant, only identified as Chege, has been directed to report to the police station to shed more light on the incident where Wajukuu wa Bibi criminal gang allegedly attacked local residents injuring two men. The gang, which was armed with machetes and knives, is said to have terrorized residents at around 9am.The victims, Mohammed Adam, 22, and Leonard Ngoa, 25, were left with deep cuts in their heads. The aspirant has been accused of masterminding the attack that occured after a football tournament. An officers at the station told Baraka FM that they have summoned Chege over the incident.On his part, Likoni police boss Willy Simba said the victims are in stable condition, adding that police will soon unearth the criminals.“The two victims were treated at Likoni District Hospital and discharged. A manhunt has been launched and we will soon nab the suspects,” said Simba, as quoted by Baraka FM.
