Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards will be making a return to the Afraha Stadium this Saturday, after a disastrous outing last weekend that saw them lose out on the KPL Super Cup.
Ingwe, who were pipped 1-0 by their bitter rivals Gor Mahia for the KPL curtain raiser honours will be up against Posta Rangers in the league's opening encounter.
The two sides have had a very active pre-season campaign that saw Ingwe beat Ugandan giants KCCA 2-1, while the Mailmen recently drew 2-2 against Ulinzi Stars in Afraha.
Rangers had a stellar outing last season, finishing fourth behind eventual champions Gor Mahia, Sofapaka and Kariobangi Sharks while the Leopard largely struggled and at one time were serious relegation candidates.
However, Leopard's head coach Robert Matano has backed his charges to put aside their Super Cup gloom and focus on kicking their campaign on a high note.
Ingwe recently brought in a number of new signings among them Kenyan international, Collins 'Gatusso' Okoth and Ghanian dangerman Prince Arkoh whom the coach has tipped to excel.
Rangers on the other hand will be counting on the safe hands of Cecafa Senior Challenge hero Patrick Matasi to lift the team past the marauding Cats.
The match kicks off at 3 pm.
