Groups continue to visit the rural home of the deceased Kabete MP George Muchai in Kabete's Kanyariri area to mourn with the family.
The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) members from Limuru constituency, neighbouring Kabete, on Tuesday visited the home.
Also visiting from Limuru was the Welfare for Welfare - Limuru CDF and a representative of people with disabilities, Alex Kirehu.
Speaking at the venue, Kirehu said Kabete was their neighbouring constituency and they were there to support them in this time of great need.
“We work closely with the CDF here through exchanging ideas, and also noting we that we are brought together with the same course of serving Kenyans, and this is why we came to offer our condolence,” said Kirehu.
He also expressed shock over the news of the sudden death of the MP.
Friends, neighbours and families also came to the home to mourn the late lawmaker.
The requiem mass of the deceased MP would be held on Thursday in Kanyariri, followed by his burial at his home in Kamulu on Friday.
MP Muchai died on Saturday morning in a gruesome shooting that also resulted in the death of his driver and two bodyguards.
Muchai had time and again told of a threat to his life, and even writing statements with the police that resulted to him getting a second bodyguard.
