Residents of Karanjee in Limuru have expressed their concerns over poor drainage on their feeder roads.
The feeder roads have become completely impassable after the heavy rains that have been experienced in the past one week.
The residents are now calling upon the area MCA and Member of Parliament to come in and help in reparing the roads to make it possible for farmers to take their products to the market.
"Even donkeys are unable to get to the market due to the poor state of our feeder roads,"Quirrah Wambui posted on Facebook.
"We lined up at 4am to vote for you but we are getting to the market at dusk. Please do something about us," a blogger, Cleophas Mwangi posted.
Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has, however, promised to fix all urban feeder roads to enable local mwananchi access to small and big towns with ease.
