Residents of Limuru Sub-County have been urged to attend a free medical training session this coming Friday at Limuru Health Centre fashioned to create awareness on health matters.
Speaking at the health facility, Agnetta Nduta, Deputy Nursing Officer has asked members of the public to take advantage of the informative session.
She said the session facilitated by the centre will include family planning training, cervical and breast cancer check-ups at absolutely no cost.
The session is aims to educate the residents of the area on matters affecting reproductive health and prevention of related diseases.
The nursing officer emphasized the need of the training as it will help reduce mortality rate and morbidity.
She advised the public to always be on the lookout for such educative programmes that help them improve their health hence increasing their productivity in the nation.
Nduta discouraged ignorance on available opportunities that relate to personal health.
“People should always attend these trainings as they are the sole beneficiaries,” she said.
The training which takes place every month will be taking place at the health centre’s grounds starting from 8.00am to 4.00pm.
