The MP claims that Kalonzo and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula will not be endorsed by Cord leader Raila Odinga to run for the presidency in the August 8 polls.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Thursday, Linturi said that Kalonzo is wasting time in Raila’s camp.

“I don’t know why it is taking too long for Kalonzo to realize that Raila will never endorse him for the presidential seat,” said the MP.

Linturi further alleged that opposition’s National Super Alliance (NASA) is being crafted to get rid of Kalonzo and Wetangula.

He added that the new found relationship between Raila and Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi is meant to kill Kalonzo and Wetangula’s presidential bid.

The MP urged Kalonzo to decamp the opposition and work with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.

“We still have space for Kalonzo and others who are going to be shot changed by Raila in the opposition,” he said.

The lawmaker at the same time dismissed NASA saying that it is not a threat to President Uhuru’s re-election.

The MP exuded confidence that Uhuru will win re-election in the August 8 general election.

There have been fresh claims that Kalonzo could opt to work with the Jubilee in the August polls.

Kalonzo has been on record saying that he is not ready to sacrifice his presidential bid and wants Raila and Wetangula to endorse his candidature as the opposition flag bearer to dislodge Uhuru’s government from power.
