Linturi who was speaking during NTV's AMLive show on Tuesday said the lack of action by the President on those mentioned in corruption scandals will only make Kenyans lose faith in the government and besides, would also encourage corruption at the county level.

"If he (the President) is committed to the fight against corruption, then he should sack the people involved in corruption scandals to give Kenyans confidence in government offices," Linturi said.

"If that is not done, and with due respect to the President, then the devolved governments will also join in corruption, and what Kenyans want to achieve with devolution will be lost," he added.

Linturi further said the continued accusation by both Jubilee and the opposition on corruption will not offer a solution to corruption.

He urged leaders to stop pointing fingers and instead provide solutions to the problem.

"Two wrongs don't make it right, Jubilee being told they are corrupt and Cord also being accused of corruption, we can not continuously be in a blame game," he said.

"I think we should focus more on the solution to this corruption that has been cancer to this country rather than this continuous rhetoric," he added.
