To many, there were telltale signs that he was on brink of exiting the Twin Towers especially considering the latest developments at the region's giant media house.

Just days after leaving, the award-winning Journalist has sent a word of encouragement to his former colleague Larry Madowo, who is also rumoured to be on brink of quitting the Aga Khan-owned NMG.

His message was in response to Madowo's where the former #TheTrend show host showered him ( Kaikai) with praise saying that he owes his media career him.

" To @LarryMadowo, stay true to the cause of Public interest. That's the sole sacred duty of Journalism. Each question you ever ask is never on your own behalf but on behalf of that nameless man or woman on the street, who never has the opportunity to ask the same question," Kaikai said on a reply to Madowo's tweet.

Kaikai is rumoured to be heading to Communication Centre, Royal Media Services,  to replace recently-appointed Lands Cabinet Secretary Faridah Karoney.
