Two lions have attacked and mauled a herder at the Nairobi National Park.

This occurred Monday morning as he was grazing his cattle.

According to police, Weldon Kiirui was together with five others after getting their way into the park Sunday night using the Bangladesh area.

Langata police boss Elija Maina revealed that the 18-year-old was preyed on by the two lions and that there were only a few body parts that remained at the scene.

“When the lions attacked them, they screamed for help and the Kenya Wildlife Services rangers rushed to rescue them but by the time they arrived, one of them had already been killed,” Maina said.

After the incident, the other herders were forcefully ejected from the park with their cattle.
