Committees, give close consideration to all the legislative and other matters that come up before it. A good deal of its business is, therefore, transacted in the Committees.The list below shows the elected chairpersons and vice-chairpersons for the Senate's 14 Standing and 2 Sessional Committees. Their elections were carried out from January 9-11, 2018.
