Despite seemingly being sidelined by a section of international community, NASA leaders Raila Odinga is enjoying support from a host of African strongmen.
At a press conference in Nairobi last week, Odinga hinted of support from African countries which he termed as 'longtime friends' adding that they were monitoring events in Kenya.
"We have our friends from Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Liberia and South Africa with us. We shall not give up in the fight," he said.
Having reverted to boycott, civil disorder and people's assemblies, it is not yet however clear whether these tactics will work against Jubilee administration.
In most of his rallies, Odinga has consistently slammed international community by accusing them of siding with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"The US and UK should keep off Kenya's internal issues. We have solutions to our problems," he said.
Among those believed to be supporting him include Paul Bia (Cameroon), Jacob Juma (South Africa), Nana Addo (Ghana), Ellen Johnson (Outgoing Liberia), Alassane Ouattara (Ivory Coast) and Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria.
So far, only President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has sent a congratulatory message to Uhuru following his landslide win.
