[Photo/Daily Nation]Kisii township residents have raised concerns over the rising insecurity in different areas in the region.Among the most notorious sections hardly hit by the menace include Getere area, Bouti village, Mwamogesa, Jogoo, Nyankongo, Botori, Daraja Mbili, Nyanchwa, Kiong'ong'i and Nyamataro.According to some of the locals in the areas aforementioned, thugs enter their houses during the day unnoticed and escape with valuables such as televisions, smartphones, cooking gas cylinders, among others.The 'smart' thugs have come up with a new style where they manage to steal without causing any violence and there are claims that they might be using black magic to steal from their victims.On the flipside, some locals have dismissed the black magic claims, saying maybe the tenants living in rental houses steal from each other since they are well acquainted.#Kisiicrime
