The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a report indicating areas that will receive more rainfall today.
According to the forecast, heavy rains will be experienced in most parts of the country from March 13, both in the morning and afternoon hours.
In Nairobi, morning rains are expected to continue. Other parts of Nairobi will experience rainfall during tha afternoon.
The same is expected in other areas of the Central Highlands which include Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu,Embu and Tharaka Nithi.
Parts of the Rift Valley and Lake Victora Basin are expected to experience morning rains during the period.
The regions which include; Siaya, Kisumu, Migori, Kisii, Trans Nzoaia, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Uasin Gushu, Nandi, Laikipia.
The North Eastern region of Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir and Garissa Counties will experience afternoon showers from Thursday, which will intensify towards the end of the forecast period.
Areas of Kitui, Makueni, Machakos and Taita Taveta Counties will experience heavier showers from Thursday.
