President Uhuru Kenyatta unveiled his 22 member list of new Cabinet Secretaries, locking out several Coast region politicians who had pledged support for the Jubilee party and Uhuru's government.
He rewarded several political rejects who had campaigned for him, leaving out others.
Some of the Coast politicians who were left out of the Cabinet include:
1. Suleiman Shahbal - former Mombasa gubernatorial candidate.
2. Hassan Omar - former Mombasa Senator and gubernatorial candidate.
3. Hazel Katana - former Mombasa deputy governor.
4. Joyce Lay - former Taita Taveta woman representative.
5. Halima Ware - former Tana River deputy governor.
6. Kenneth Kamto - former Kilifi deputy governor.
