With only two weeks to elections, presidential campaign teams from major parties are putting focus on regions that are earmarked as swing regions, which would probably decide the race.
Both Jubilee and NASA teams have traversed regions believed to be strongholds to sensitize their supporters to vote in large numbers.
For instance, NASA campaigned in Nyanza and Western regions, making endless trips while President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto on Tuesday returned to their Central and Rift Valley strongholds separately.
But Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Isiolo, West Pokot, Marsabit and Laikipia appear to be tossups and each team is determined to sway voting in their favour.
While Raila Odinga has made endless trips to three Maa counties, Uhuru Kenyatta has either visited the counties too or hosted professionals from those regions in State House.
In 2013 for instance, Odinga managed to score slightly higher than Kenyatta in Narok but lost narrowly in Kajiado County.
And both sides have lined up intensive campaigns in those regions during the final week of campaigns with Odinga scheduled to tour Narok, Kajiado, Marsabit while Kenyatta is also rumoured to be planning a same encounter.
