Unlike after his August victory, only few governments across the world have come fourth to congratulate President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory.
Last week, Uhuru was declared the winner of October presidential repeat poll, which was widely boycotted following Raila Odinga's withdrawal.
World Super Powers among them US, UK, France and China have both gone slow despite the fact that they were among the first countries to hail Uhuru in annulled August victory.
So far, only President Yoweri Museveni (Uganda), Pierre Nkurunsinza ( Burundi) and the government of Somali have come out to recognize Uhuru's victoy.
"The election was more of a one man show and many people died as a result," notes Prof Ondigi Abaya.
He adds: "Most leaders will wait and see whether the opposition will challenge the victory in court. That is when we shall know Uhuru's fate."
Already, Odinga has dismissed the victory insisting that he will revert to street protests and boycott of products to push for fresh polls in 90 days.
Interested parties have until Monday evening to challenge Uhuru's victory in the Supreme Court of the country.
