Raila Odinga has listed several demands that he wants met by IEBC before October 17th elections failure to which he will contemplate quitting from the race.
The electoral body is locked in a series of internal and external wrangles which could derail delivery of credible elections; two months after results of a similar poll were nullified by Supreme Court.
Chief Executive Officer Ezra Chiloba is among the individuals blacklisted by the opposition team for allegedly conspiring with Jubilee to bangle August 8 elections.
A part from Chiloba, the opposition team wants the commission to sideline a host of Returning Officers and a number of individuals working under Chiloba.
Also, to demonstrate transparency in results transmission, NASA wants IEBC to contract a neutral team of ICT experts who will work closely with the team selected by political parties and the commission.
Dubai based printing press Al Ghurair has yet again found itself in Odinga’s list of unwanted cooperates with the opposition accusing it of collaborating with commissioners to rig elections. Already, IEBC says it has contracted it to handle printing of ballot papers.
In compliance with Supreme Court order, the opposition team wants the commission to give access to IEBC servers for further audit to ascertain the credibility of August 8 outcome.
