National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga now wants the IEBC to exclude six of their officers from the scheduled presidential election.
In a press statement, Odinga has named the offices he claims bungled the August 8 elections.The Nasa presidential candidate also dismissed IEBC’s announcement that only two candidates – President Uhuru Kenyatta and himself – will be on the ballot.He also said, on Tuesday, that Al Ghuriar printing firm, should not be considered in the tendering of ballots for the fresh polls, to be held on October 17.Here is the list of IEBC officials Odinga wants sent home before the fresh presidential elections:1. Ezra Chiloba (Commission Secretary and CEO) 2. Betty Nyabuto – Deputy Commission Secretary (Operations). 3. James Muhati, Director ICT 4. Immaculate Kassait, Director Voter Registration and Elections Operations. 5. Praxedes Tororey, Director Legal and Public Affairs. 6. Moses Kipkogey, Manager Legal Department and Advisor to the CEO.The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader also dismissed the date set by IEBC for the fresh elections.
Odinga argued that there were a number of issues to be solved before the elections are held, and they they were not consulted.
