It looks like Kenyan celebrities have opted to take a back seat in matters of marriage.
Many of them have not yet chosen to settle down despite having hit the 30 years and above age-mark and going by their social activities some seem not yet convinced they are ripe for man-woman unions.
The latest to reveal that she is prepared to settle down and start a family is radio presenter Kalekye Mumo who on Saturday gave details of the type of man she is willing to marry. Kalekye is over 30 years.
"Let us be honest, well all look for the first man we fell in love with in our husbands. And more often than not that man is your father," she told Radio Jambo in an interview.
She said the man who should walk her down the aisle should be funny, loving and affectionate, open, honest, encouraging and extremely handsome with loads of swag.
Kalekye is in the list of celebrities in the country who have hit over 30 years but still living with their parents.
Others include TV personality Sheila Mwanyigha, Ebru TV's Pierra Makena, newly appointed Deputy State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena and actress Rita Dominic who is said to be over 40 years but still single.
