Kisumu is one of the four counties found in Nyanza province and is made up of seven constituencies namely; Muhoroni, Nyakach, Kisumu Central, Nyando, Kisumu East, Kisumu West and Seme.
In the last election, a section of incumbents were sent home whereas other retained their seats.
Here is the full list of Kisumu constituencies and their legislators.
1. Muhoroni
The constituency is represented by Oyango K' Oyoo who retained his seat after securing 50,080 votes.
2. Nyakach
Nyakach's representative in Parliament is Aduma Owour who retained his seat during last year's General Election.
3. Kisumu Central
New entrant Fred Ouda won the Kisumu Central MP seat on an ODM ticket after beating independent candidate Yusuf Ooro.
4. Nyando
Nyando Constituency is represented by Jared Okello.He replaced Fred Outa who contested for the Senatorial seat and won.
5. Kisumu East
Shakeel Shabir is the constituency's legislator after he retained his seat as an independent candidate.
6. Kisumu West
The constituency is represented by Olago Aluoch who retained his seat on a Ford-Kenya ticket.
7. Seme
Dr James Nyikal is the region's representative at the National Assembly.
