[Photo|ODM Reloaded]Since he left Kenya on Tuesday last week for the United States, opposition leader Raila Odinga has met several high profile leaders during his official visit.So far, the NASA leader has met the following people:1. Yamamoto Donald - Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs in the US administration.2. Michael Phelan - Director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.3. Greg Simpkins - Director of the House of Representatives sub-committee on Africa.4. Senator Christopher Coons - one of the most influential voices in the Senate on Africa. He chairs the House Foreign Relations sub-committee on African Affairs.NASA quoted the meeting saying: "While his meeting with US government officials was limited, Mr Odinga’s socialisation with congressional committee members such as Mr Coons, who has a compelling grasp of Kenya’s political and social dynamics, will go a long way in presenting our case to the circles of US Congress and government." Odinga's visit to the US was ensure electoral reforms are upheld and fresh elections is conducted after six months. He addressed a public forum at CSIS | Center for Strategic and International Studies on Thursday morning and held more meetings with other leaders and officials of civil society organisations.At the CSIS, Odinga spoke on 'Overcoming Kenya’s Political Crisis and Advancing Democracy, Rule of Law and Stability'.On Sunday, he was in New Jersey for a dinner party organised by NASA USA Team in his honour.
