Senior politicians in NASA coalition are said to be opposed to Raila Odinga’s planned swearing-in, reveals the Sunday Nation.

On December 12th, Odinga said, his supporters will witness his swearing-in as People’s President at a venue that is yet to be disclosed.

But due to his international reputation, reports the Nation, senior politicians are said to be cautious about the planned oath taking.

“He is a man of good reputation and taking such an oath could be risky. We do not want to take that path,” said a senior MP who talked to ODM.

When asked about the swearing-in, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi was quick to deviate from the subject adding that he would address the mater later.

“We shall give proper plans on Monday and it’s good to wait until that time. We are still holding consultations.”

Among those said to be opposing the move are Moses Wetangula, Josphat Nanok, Anyang’ Nyong’o, James ongwae and other senior politicians in the coalition.
