The National Super Alliance is expected to hold a series of rallies across the country ahead of teh planned swearing-in of leader Raila Odinga at the end of this month.
Beginning this weekend, Raila Odinga will embark on a tour of western Kenya with trips to Busia and Kakamega.
During the rallies, the People’s Assembly gatherings will be held.
“This Sunday, we head to Western Kenya to continue with people-driven initiative to ensure electoral justice and self-determination in our country. The details of the program and nature of events to be held in Kakamega will be disclosed by the NASA leadership in Western Kenya,” said NASA in a statement sent to newsrooms.
North-Eastern region is also in the opposition’s radar with a planned joint meeting in Garissa town, before the leaders head to Mombasa for a rally in the run up to the ‘swearing in’.
Narok, Migori and Kisii counties have also been scheduled to launch the people’s assemblies with Gusii stadium expected to host the last rally before the ‘inauguration’.
