Friends School Kamusinga, Kakamega high, Vihiga boys, Lugulu,Malava Boys, Chesamis and Chavakali are among others affected by the shift.

The principals from Kamusinga, Lugulu Girls, Cardinal Otunga Girls, Chesamisi High School, St Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School and St Luke’s Kimilili Boys High School have been moved to new stations by TSC.

Mr. Edwin Namachanja of Kamusinga moves to Maranda High School in Siaya County, a school known fr registering highest numbers of candidates in national exams and good grades. Namachanja will be replaced by Mr. Alex Maina from Oloolaiser Boys High in Kajiado County.

At Lugulu Girls, the Principal, Margaret Mechumi has been moved to Kisumu Girls and will be replaced by Dinah Chebii from Moi Girls Kapsowar in Elgeyo Marakwet.

St Luke’s Kimilili Boys Principal, Patrick Wandili has also been moved to Mukumu Boys in Kakamega County and Nyariki Ombatta from Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High will take his place.

St Mary’s Kibabii High School head Mathew Simiyu has been moved to little known but performing Nyabigena High School in Nyamira swapping places with Nicodemus Ogeto.

Cardinal Otunga Girls High head Christine Nafuna has been transferred to Koru Girls in Kisumu and will be swapping places with Emelda Odiembo.

Chesamisi High Principal, John Wakwabubi, has been moved to Malava Boys in Kakamega County and will be replaced by Ezekiel Ayiego from Vihiga Boys in Vihiga County.

Well known Kakamega high principal Oliver Minishi Principal who has served in the station for 11 years moves to Nanyuki high in Rift Valley to be replaced by a colleague from Nyambaria high school in Kisii.

Also affected are principals of Musingu boys high school and his Chavakali counterpart Kai Indimuli.

The transfers are expected to take effect from January next year with principals having received their letters effecting the move.
