Radio Ramogi breakfast show host Ben Oluoch Okello won the ODM Migori county snatorial primaries garnering 68,194 votes, former Standard Group Editor Enoch Wambua won wih 99, 694 vote in Kitui county Wiper senatorial nominations.

Also former Kameme  radio presenter Gathoni Wa Muchomba scooped a landslide in Kiambu Women Rep Jubilee nomination where she floored the incumbent Ann Nyokabi by garnering 374, 306 votes against 20,368.
