But in as much as he excelled as an individual, Kaikai has also helped build the media careers of many TV stars in Kenya today.

Celebrated NTV Anchor Larry Madowo is one such guy who owes his media career to Kaikai. Starting his TV work at KTN, it was at Twin Towers that the Daystar University-trained Journalist fully exploited his potential. And he has admitted that Kaikai literally made him.

Former KTN Senior Anchor James Smart is another TV Star who has admitted that Kaikai played an important life in his media career. Before joining NTV, Smart worked for Capital FM. But Kaikai in charge of NTV then plucked him from the radio and gave him his first TV job. It was then that The Trend was born with Smart as the first host.

Jamila Mohamed, a talented NTV is another TV personality who has gone public confessing that Kaikai got her started from the scratch.In paying tribute to Kaikai who left Twin Towers after 9 years, Jamila said that it was him who saw potential in her and gave her a chance.

Then there are other NTV Anchors Trevor Ombija and Gladys Gachanja. The two were among the last anchors that Kaikai gave a chance on TV and they have never disappointed. Ombija particularly confessed that his life would not have been the same without him ( Kaikai).
