On Sunday, ODM conducted party primaries in different areas of Nairobi county, however the nominations were bitterly contested by some of the losers.

On Monday, violent protests were witnessed after Esther Passaris was declared the party candidate for Nairobi Women Rep seat at the Nyayo stadium tallying center.

However, despite the massive complains several names have been passed as winners in different constituencies and wards.

The following were declared winners, Evans Kidero (Governor), Esther Passaris (Women Rep), Steve Mbogo (Starahe), George Aladwa( Makadara), Abdulkadir Mohamud Omar (Kamukunji), Babu Owino (Embakasi East), Ken Okoth (Kibra), Tom Onyango (Embakasi West).

The announcement of Alex Ouda for Langata constituency was however, heavily disputed.
