Speaking in Eldoret town, Tuesday, Buzeki said voters should not make decisions based on tribal or party inclinations but instead look at what the candidate intents to do.

He further asked Uasin Gishu residents to ignore calls for a six-piece voting saying "go for leaders based on their policies, not party affiliation.

"When they recently visited Uasin Gishu, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto rallied their supporters to vote for Jubilee candidates.

Buzeki who is seeking to unseat governor Jackson Mandago insisted that he is the best bet for the people of Uasin Gishu.

"You should listen to us carefully and then go and think about our policies, then decide," he said.
