There are little things that add to our blessings when counting them.
They are more of Christian virtues that pleases God and hence descending His blessings to us. Some of these things include the following:
Being humble
God is pleased by those who are humble and ready to learn. In the Bible, when the people were offering their tithes, the rich man was boastful and even looked down upon the poor man. He boasted of offering the fat tithes and never missed in giving. However, the poor man humbled, knelt down and gave his in humility. God loves those who are humble and hence uses other people to bless us.
Faithfulness
Being faithful calls upon respect from other people. A person who is faithful is highly honoured. People can trust you and whenever they acknowledge you, God hears and grants you blessings.
Take an example of a married couple, when they are faithful to each other God blesses them abundantly and even makes them see their great grandchildren in peace before they die, unlike the unfaithful ones where there will be divorce, a sign of no blessings from God.
Kindness
When you are kind, you mind about others. You will not hurt other people's feelings since you are a kind-hearted human being. It is when you be mindful of others in whichever the way God can bless you.
Obedience
In the Bible, Abraham was obedient to God. He was ready to sacrifice his own son since he was instructed by God. Through this action, God blessed him by making him the father of nations among other blessings.
Being remorseful
This means you are always asking for forgiveness when you do a mistake. In the Bible, David practised this character and was forgiven by God each time he went astray. God was happy and blessed him by making his lineage famous through Messiah being born in it.
These are some of the Christian virtues that help us attract blessings from God.
