Peaceful anti-IEBC protests by the National Super Alliance (Nasa) have kicked off countrywide.

The opposition says the polls body is not ready to conduct the fresh presidential election slated for October 26.

Yesterday, Raila Odinga, the Nasa leader, announced his withdrawal from the race.

The opposition also said that the demonstrations against IEBC will continue, with a rally to be held at Nairobi's Uhuru Park this morning.

Meanwhile, the High Court has ruled that Thirdway Alliance leader Ekuru Aukot should be allowed to contest for the presidency.

IEBC had gazetted President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga as the only presidential candidates, following nullification of August 8 election results.
