9:00pm: IEBC CEO has denied claims by NASA, that its system was hacked, by their Jubilee opponents, to manipulate election results, in favour of Uhuru Kenyatta.

8:27pm: Nairobi Jubilee Woman Rep candidate Rachel Shebesh has conceded defeat after losing to ODM's Esther Passaris. Provisional results put Passaris ahead with 830927 votes (53.24%), over Shebesh's 673364 votes (43.14%).

                Armed men attack IEBC tallying centre

7:37pm: At least five men armed with knives are reported to have attacked Hola tallying centre in Tana River County. 2 people have been injured. In response, police gunned down 2 of the attackers.

7:02pm:  ANC's Lugari MP Ayub Savula is leading, as he hopes to retain his seat, with 40 013 votes (72,02%), against his competitors' Nabii Daraja (ODM) who has 9 635 votes (17,34%), and Ford Kenya's Joseph Lunani who has 3 825 votes (6,89%), provisional results.

6:35pm:  Kitutu Masaba constituency in Nyamira county, MP Timothy Bosire (ODM) is heading home. IEBC provisional results show that he has garnered 18 869 votes (27,86%). Jubilee's Shadarck John Mose is leading with 32 614 votes (48,15%).

6:30pm: National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale is on his way to win the Garissa Township MP seat. He has 59% of the votes counted, against Wiper’s former NA deputy speaker Farah Maalim, who has 40%. 71% of the votes have been transmitted.

6:15pm: 2 shot dead in Mathare, Nairobi

Police in Mathare have shot dead 2 people, following confrontation between officers and protesters. Police say they were robbing locals.

             No plan to announce winner

5:45pm: IEBC says they have no plans to announce the winner of the presidential election tonight.

            Uhuru carries Nyamira5:40pm: With 95.66% of votes counted, President Uhuru Kenyatta appeared to have won Nyamira County. He has 52% (102,056) compared to Raila Odinga’s 46% (91,031). This is one of the counties that has shocked the country.

            Lusaka going home5:35pm: Bungoma Governor Ken Luisaka, a Jubilee Party candidate, has lost the seat to Ford Kenya’s Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati, according to IEBC’s provisional results. Lusaka has 43% of the vote and Wangamati has garnered 48%.
