Jubilee pointman fails to deliver parliamentary  seat

The three main contenders as it stands

Onyonka currently leading with over 4000 votes at 8,121, followed by Kibagendi at 3809 and ODM's Omwando third at 2499.

Former MP Richard Onyonka takes leads with 3755 votes followed by Kibagendi at 1750 after 41 polling stations out of 115 finished tallying.

Onyonka: 572

Kibagendi: 373

Omwando: 168

Mosocho market polling station

Onyonka: 297 votes

Kibagendi: 143 votes

Omwando: 106 votes.

St Mary Mosocho polling station

Onyonka: 810 votes

Kibagendi: 193 votes

The former MP has taken the lead in the tight race pitting him with Jubilee's Anthony Kibagendi and ODm's Omwando.

Meanwhile

George Morara Abuga has bagged the Bogichora ward seat on an ODM ticket in Nyamira county.

Onyonka beats Kibagendi at his backyard.

The former MP Richard Onyonka defeated Jubilee's Anthony Kibagendi at his Nyamataro backyard by scooping  194 votes against Kibagendi's 163.

Onyonka: 32 votes

Omwando: 67 votes

Voter turnout

Voter turnout is reported to be between 30 to 35 percent of the total 59,000 registered voterd.
