Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's gubernatorial dream for Nairobi county  has received support from various leaders across the nation with the latest endorsement coming from former Lang’ata parliamentary aspirant Stanley Livondo.

The renowned Nairobi businessman has promised to rally the electorate behind Wamalwa during the upcoming general elections. 

He made the announcement at a rally in Embakasi North where he attended a fundraiser at Kariobangi Catholic Church to aid in the construction  of the church's extension buildings. 

The fundraiser was also attended by Wamalwa, Embakasi North Member of Parliament James Gakuya and Nairobi County Women Representative Rachael Shebesh among other leaders. 

According to Livondo, the senior Luhyia community leaders have also agreed to support Wamalwa for the governor’s seat. 

Other prominent Luhyia leaders who have assured Wamalwa of their support include Noah Wekesa Sambu, Ababu Namwaba, George Nyongesa, Musikari Kombo, Fred Gumo, Fwamba Fwamba and Ambassador Yvonne Khamati. 

Wamalwa will be looking forward to lock horns with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko or incumbent Nairobi governor Evans Kidero among others.
