[Photo| Nation]A lobby group is calling for the arrest oppositions leaders who have threatened to install the National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Raila Odinga as 'president'. The lobby identified as Mount Kenya Youth Caucus, termed the purported swearing-in act as unconstitutional saying it should not be allowed."Only President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto should be sworn in, having been elected on October 26," the caucus chairman Linford Mutembei said on Wednesday as quoted by Nation.“Any other planned swearing-in is illegal and should not be allowed to take place. Those who intend to undertake such an activity should be put behind bars and dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the law," Mutembei added. The chairman further noted that the Nasa leaders intending to install Odinga know that their move is inconsequential but are only trying to cover themselves from the shame of having misled him not to participate in the October 26 repeat election.“They are just seeking some relevance and to hide their mistakes of misleading Odinga to boycott the election thinking things would go their way," Mutembei said.
