Through their chairperson, Wyclife Ochome, the organization says that only through maximum support to the county government will realize adequate development.

He urged leaders to put aside their differences and forge ahead matters of development and service delivery to the Kisumu County residents.

While praising Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma for escaping the EACC’s list of shame on graft, Ochome said that it is now vivid that the previous allegations on Kisumu county government being corrupt were just ill motivated to shift gears on matters of development.

Speaking in Kiliti when he presided over a fund drive in aid of bodaboda riders from the region, Ochome urged the security personnel, especially the police, to help solve challenges of insecurity facing bodaboda riders.

He said that most riders have in the past lost their lives through attacks by unknown gunmen, and this can only be resolve through mutual understanding between the riders and the stakeholders in the bodaboda sector.

Ochome reiterated that bodaboda has offered adverse employment to the youths, and as a result should be supported adequately.

He urged elected leaders from Kisumu County to source for investors who can boost the sector and make it profitable to the youths.

Ochome however told the riders to abide by the rules to avoid being in the wrong side of the law.
