Amani Coalition (AC) has its major objective to unit all tribes living the multi-tribal region.

Steve Ocholla, AC’s chief executive officer says that there is need for all tribes from the region to live together in peace.

“We want all tribes to live as brothers and sisters. We will partner with both governments in shaping the destiny of this nation by promoting national cohesion and reconciliation,” said Ocholla.

Speaking on Friday in Nakuru Town during a cohesion awareness tour, Ocholla said that the group would work vigorously to preach peace.

He urged the National Council of Churches of Kenya and the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya to work together in promoting peace in the country.

“The presence of other peace-abiding bodies is needed to consolidate our efforts,” said the lobbyist.

Ocholla urged all communities to discard tribalism that tend to stifle patriotism.

He further urged the government and political leaders in their different capacities to foster cohesion and reconciliation.
