Residents of Gilgil town were Friday evening entertained by a number of artistes who included Prof Hamo of Churchill Live, Willy Paul, Size 8, Dj Mo and Jua Cali during a road show.
Speaking to the press during the show, Samuel Wagishu who is a resident in Gilgil town said that this was a chance for them to see their favourite local artistes.
"Most of us just see them on TV and we are very thrilled to have interacted with them. We really appreciate it. I really enjoyed seeing the performances of Jua Cali," Wagishu said.
Business came to a standstill as people closed the roads to see the artistes performing.
"I was really amazed when Tiger Power broke the nails into two. The guy has really got strength and power. Av never imagined he can use his teeth to break the nails", Nelly Wanjiru said.
While performing, Jua Cali urged the people of Gilgil to support the local talents so that they can improve the local industry.
"It is through your efforts that we have reached here. I ask all of you to support us so that we can continue giving you the best songs and entertainment," Jua cali said.
Size 8 and Willy Paul thrilled the fans with their performance of Tam Tam song.
