President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto cancelled the much awaited tour to Kitutu Masaba following eleventh hour intelligence briefings on Wednesday.
The President, who had earlier on commissioned elevation of Nyamira Level Five Hospital, Kebirigo-Mosobeti road and Egetai national polytechnic was expected to launch Nyangori water project which was cancelled.
The motorcade of the President had arrived at the water project only for the itinerary to change suddenly following intelligence gatherings of a possible disruption.
According to exclusive investigation done by the reporter, aspiring Governor Walter Nyambati and another aspiring Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose had imported people from different parts as a major plan to embarrass area MP Timothy Bosire and aspiring Governor Charles Mochama.
“Honestly, we have been bought whistles by Nyambati and Mose team to disrupt Bosire and Mochama in case they were to speak here. We planned it since morning and the two were going to face our wrath,” said a source who spoke to the reporter on condition of anonymity.
“Our target was to give the two difficult moments when speaking and it has nothing to do with the president and his Deputy because they were welcome here,” the source added.
“We wanted to make the ground hostile for Bosire and Mochama in favour of our masters and we have nothing to regret,” the source added.
Efforts to get comments from the mentioned politicians were futile since none picked phone calls or answered text messages.
