(Photo/KNA)Isiolo governor Mohamed Kuti has said the State will sensitize locals about the Sh20 billion dam project along River Ewaso Nyiro.He said the sensitization program through the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation aims to educate the locals who are opposed to the project that is part of the Vision 2030.Isiolo, Laikipia, and Samburu will get water supply from the dam once it is completed.Laikipia and Samburu residents support the project.Isiolo leaders noted that county residents who live downstream and depend on the river will suffer during construction of the dam.On Friday last week, governor Kuti, MPs and MCAs visited the site of the dam in Oldonyiro ward.
