Several Polling stations in Uasin Gishu county are still witnessing long cues with barely two hours before polls officially close.
Most to the polling centres with long cues are the ones located in Eldoret town and other urban centres across the county.
At Atnas Kandie Primary school in Huruma ward, Turbo constituency, hundreds were still lining up to vote as at 3.45pm.
Similar scenario was witnessed at MV Patel Social Hall in Eldoret town which is arguably the biggest polling centre in Uasin Gishu.
Despite the long cues, voters have expressed satisfaction in the way voting process is being conducted.
"IEBC prepared very well for this elections as everything is moving on smoothly. I will have to wait until my turn to vote comes," noted James Muturi, a registered voter at MV Patel Social hall.
