A somber mood has engulfed residents of Kuria West, Migori county after a lorry rammed into a house killing four children instantly and left minor injuries on one.

The lorry that was ferrying sand ran into the house while the children were sleeping.

Kuria West OCPD Mr Benson Makumbi has confirmed the incident.

Makumbi said the survivor is recuperating while the four bodies have been transferred to Migori Level IV Hospital mortuary.
